The much talked about and keenly anticipated Hrithik Roshan – Saif Ali Khan starrer Vikram Vedha hit screens a week ago. A remake of the south film starring R. Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi, the venture came with immense hopes and expectations. In fact, Vikram Vedha which released across 5640 screens worldwide opened on a good note.
In this box office report, we look at the box office collections of Vikram Vedha in the overseas markets over its first week. Not surprisingly, the film which hit 1633 screens across 104 countries has managed to draw in USD 3.654 million [Rs. 30.26 cr.] by the end of its first week. However, looking at the day-to-day business of the film, clearly evident is the gradually declining box office collections. After a good start with USD 1.003 million coming in on Day 1, the business of Vikram Vedha saw sharp decline in business with each passing day.
Currently entering its second weekend in theatres, Vikram Vedha continues to run but at a much diminished rate. However trade remains optimistic stating that the business of the film is likely to see a growth in business over the weekend.
